Summary[]

Whilst working on some maps, Stewpot attempts to ask Claire if she'd like to go to the leisure centre, but Duane's angry looks put him off. In the queue for the Tuck Shop, Stewpot asks him what's wrong with wanting to ask her out. Duane says they're not going out, yet still accuses him of stealing his girlfriend, and tells him he will have to choose between him or Claire. Stewpot decides on Claire.

Gripper is picking on Randir again, but some other students stick up for him and tell Randir he can hang out with them.

In the staffroom, Mr. Smart is for the idea of shortening lunch hours to reduce violence, but Mr. Hopwood is against the idea. Suzanne is waiting for Mr. Hopwood to speak about her options but he is too busy to see her, so she listens in on the staff meeting instead, only to be interrupted by the arrival of Mrs. McClusky. She explains that lunchtimes will have to be changed due to staff shortages.

Stewpot asks Claire out and she agrees. It is announced to the students that their lunch break will be cut short, much to their dismay. Things seem slightly better when they realise they will be let out earlier, but they are still upset. Suzanne arrives late and proclaims she doesn't care what happens in school anymore and has given up.

Pogo decides to convert to being a Sikh so he can wear a turban. Randir turns Pogo's scarf into a turban for him, but Gripper comes along and says things won't be good in the future for 'foreigners'. At the end of the day, Gripper has lined up a group, blocking the exit, but Woody says he's fine with fighting them. However, Mr. Hopwood spots them and stops things from going any further, giving Gripper a warning.
